In the 'pick of the week' series we highlight an interesting find from the World Wide Web. This could be a website, an interesting forum post, a photos etc etc. For week 44 we couldn't overlook a small site about the Lucas fuel injection system..

By Jove, that sounded rather geeky didn't it? Well, either way it's still interesting to find out a little more about one of the first mass-produced fuel systems. The site's design isn't absolutely mind-blowing to say the least but it has some interesting information and pictures on it as well as period adverts. In which the system's excellence is portrayed by linking it to many F1 world champions.

For the tech-savvies among us there are some ideas and manuals how to rebuild various Lucas fuel injection systems. Come on, have look, it's worth it and not just because of some great American V8 trumpetery..
