Andy Warhol's splashes on BMW M1 Pro carThe BMW art cars have been on the move around the globe since 2006. They have been exhibited in Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, Australia, India, Taiwan, China, Russia, Africa and the Philippines. Now though, they will hit American shores to be displayed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from February 12- February 24. The BMW art cars are revered all around the world and have been displayed in many prestigious galleries and museums.

A few weeks ago we talked about the Retromobile auction and some of the incredible cars on offer at the exhibition. Now we bring you the results from the car auction. There are some surprises as some cars blew their estimates by a large margin. Which must mean there's still money around despite the 'economic crisis' or are people spending their cash on cars rather then stocks, bonds and options?

We all know Jay leno is one of the biggest car nuts on the planet with cars ranging from a Duesenburg to Bugattis and steam powered cars. Obviously, he wants to keep his collection running, which, of course, can be quite difficult with all the super-exclusive cars he owns. You can't go to the shop and buy parts of the shelve. Parts have to be made from scratch.

Car stickers for Goodwood’s annual Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival have become a regular sight over the years, placed in the rear windows of motor sport enthusiasts’ vehicles. This year, motorists displaying the Goodwood motor sport event stickers in their cars may have their enthusiasm rewarded with the chance of winning tickets to the Festival of Speed and/or Revival if their vehicle is spotted. So put one on yer window and wait for the one chance in a million.

Nilsson & PetersonNormally one would describe a Swede as blond hair, blue eyes and being as temperamental as say, a barn owl. But with Gunnar Nilsson this was slightly different; on his head whirled dark hair with eyes to match, he looked like he was from Sicily or some other mediterranean isle. Nilsson was born in Sweden though, to be precise in Helsingborg in 1948, son of real estate magnate Arvid Nilsson and Elisabeth Nilsson.
