One previous owner, 50 years in storage E-mail

It really sounds unbelievable but on EBAY we found a Porsche 356 for sale that had been in storage for 50 years! With only one careful owner it might be expected that the car is in quite good condition. However, the condition of this Porsche is slightly different to say the least. Read on to see some horror.

With 7 days to go the the current bid for this rustbucket is $50000 and the reserve hasn't even been met yet. The car was purchased in 1956 and has only 30k kilometers on the clock. It is rusty, the paint has bladdered over the years and obviously it's dusty. What is so remarkable about this car is that everything is original; from the windows to the gearknob to the leather trim. Which is exactly what makes it so desirable and apparently makes punters bid so much for it.

We don't really understand though why someone would put his beautiful Porsche in a garage after just 3 years of driven and then don't do anything with it for the next 50 years. It's not as if you're going to forget about it. Now, just enjoy some of the photos and take a look at the ebay listing, you might get interested..
